Update: My Daughter's Pre-Op Visit & God's Hand!!

Yesterday we went to visit Dr. Kemper for our pre-op visit.

First of all I just want to thank each and everyone for your prayers!!  They are so appreciated!!

As you may know we have been fasting & praying for 44 days as of today.  We are doing a healing fast with God's foods.  It's basically a Daniel fast with plenty of fresh raw foods and juicing.  Our fast is explained here:   http://www.hacres.com/hallelujah-diet/explanation.

My daughter has been praying specifically for her cholesteatoma  to be healed and for a second ear bone.  Yesterday at the pre-op visit, the Dr. looked into her ear, he studied it carefully, checked his notes and announced that he could see part of her second ear bone.  The colesteatoma was still there, but the prognosis is much better!  Now, he should not have to put a titanium metal prosthesis in her ear, but may be able to build a bridge across to connect the bone.  What does this mean?  It all depends, but it implies her hearing might be much better!

We were very encouraged by this news and know it is a sign from God.  It is an answer to her prayer for an ear bone!  I believe that God is watching out for her, and will see her thru this.  We pray for her faith to be strengthened through this trial. We also ask for continued prayer for her hearing to be fully restored, and for a full recovery from the cholesteatoma.  To God be the glory!!

The surgery is scheduled for Feb 28th at 7:30 am.
God leads me to I Kings 2:44:  Solomon Asks for Wisdom.
My friend Alison shares this verse with me:  “This is the confidence we have in Him, if we ask anything according to His Will, He hears us.”  1 John 5:14
No matter what the outcome is, we trust in Him.

Blessings, Rachel.
