Prayers needed for our daughter!

A lot has been going on at my little farmhouse.  Our oldest daughter (10) has been diagnosed with a rare condition a cholesteatoma (this is a very visual website so be prepared if you click on the link!).  It is a condition of the ear.  It's very serious and she will need surgery.  The disease has eroded one of her ear bones, causing permanent hearing loss, and if it continues to the inner ear it will cause even more problems like vertigo.  As you can imagine the surgery is very delicate.

God has led us to a great doctor, Dr. Kemper.  We know His hand is on this whole situation.  This ENT, turned out to be an Ear specialist.  He was able to diagnose her immediately.  He had a microscope thing in her ear, and was able to project her ear drum on to a computer screen.  He took his time explaining everything to us and what needed to be done.  He told her " I cannot make it the same as God can, but I will do my best.".  I knew from his office he was a Christian.  Thank you Lord for your provision!!  The next week I took my youngest daughter to our regular doctor, for a rash, and I told him what was going on.  He said Dr. Kemper was a very good doctor.  Thank you God for confirmation!

We have begun a period of fasting and praying for God to MOVE on her ear.  We are asking for a miracle, and if that is not going to happen (depending on God's will)  then we are praying the surgery will go smoothly and she will be fully healed.  Surgery is scheduled for Feb 28th.

We stand on the word of God that tells us ¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  Jeremiah 29:11.

We ask for our friends, and fellow believers in Christ Jesus, to lift up our daughter in your prayers.  Prayer is powerful!!
