A fresh seasonal salad that I absolutely love! My favorite store- Whole Foods, has had their Heirloom Tomatoes on sale the last few weeks. They are perfect, plump and delicious. Don't you just love the picture above? The tomato looks like a perfect heart!
I pulled a few fresh leaves off my garden basil plants, and found some fresh mozzarella at my other favorite store- Costco. I sliced the tomatoes and the mozzarella, layered them on a plate, then drizzled olive oil and balsamic vinegar over them.
Magnificent!
